“Stomp” as we like to refer to ourselves,
represents the celebration of an active life.
Wherever you go there you are, so make a good impression!
Wherever you go there you are, so make a good impression!
We partner with companies, agencies, and individuals to empower them with the digital tools to provide their services to the world. We plan, design and build websites, applications, interactive experiences. We work with local companies just getting started with their first digital presence, and well established companies that need complex solutions.
Stomp is deeply rooted in Digital Transformation (https://www.salesforce.com/products/platform/what-is-digital-transformation/), and we are truly passionate about it. We can help you from the early stages of your project with planning and strategy and partner into the solution and support phases for a wide range of solutions.
Stomp Interactive, Paul Albertson, and his team bring many years of Software Engineering, Interactive Experience Development, and Client Engagement to offer smart solutions to their clients to help you make an impression.
We would love to hear about your project! Contact us today to see how we can work together.
We have been doing what we do for a long time. We have a formula for most things, but the landscape is always shifting and we have to stay agile and learn on the run.
Stomp Interactive is lean and mean. We learn by doing and everyone does the work. Paul Albertson actively designs, and codes alongside everyone else. We heavily utilize the contractor model to scale up to meet our project requirements. We don’t have a lot of overhead and are mostly remote at this point.
We utilize cloud based collaboration tools to make working with our clients as easy as possible. We scale up and down utilizing our network of specialists and technologists on a per project basis. We have a small footprint in the Cal Poly Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship that we use for conference rooms and a flex space. We can host events, and meetings here when we need to have face time.
Mentorship is very important to us and we are always looking for opportunities to give back.
We work with the Cal Poly GRC program (Graphics Communication School) here in San Luis Obispo and find budding technologists to work with and give them real world experience. We also are actively on the lookout for young technologists that want to learn by doing.

Stomp Interactive was originally founded in 1998 by Paul Albertson. Paul is a Husband, Dad, Drummer and Multi-instrumentalist, Mountain Biker, Enduro Motorcyclist, Technical co-founder for Liquid8 Water, Programmer, Photographer, Designer, and tinkerer extraordinaire.
Paul spent many years working with individuals, companies, and agencies through the years to build websites, native apps, web apps, e-commerce sites, and complex interactive experiences. At his core Paul is a Creative Engineer, an individual that possesses a Creative, and Engineering skill set. Paul is a full stack engineer with proficiency in multiple front-end and back-end technologies. In addition to being a full-stack engineer, Paul is a designer, photographer, videographer, animation artist.
In 2006 Paul had an opportunity to dive into the Digital Marketing Agency world and threw himself whole-heartedly into this new adventure that lasted about 15 years. In his time in the trenches of the worlds largest agencies he was able to engineer and lead solutions for brands like Lexus, VW, Sony Playstation, HTC, Ritz Carlton, Hyundai, Samsung and many others. When Paul left agency life to transition over to the client side, he had served as Engineer, Tech Lead, and Creative Engineering Director for some of the most exciting teams and brands on the planet.
In 2017 Paul had the opportunity to “Go Client-side” and concentrate on being a member of a technology product company. Paul took a Sr Engineer role with a Real Estate Management SaaS company (ExactBid) and worked as a Scrum Master and Sr. Engineer for a powerful product that would be acquired and merged into what is now known as Lightbox. Paul was recognized for his leadership and assumed the role of Engineering Director where he oversaw multiple onshore and offshore teams maintaining, moderning, and developing new solutions for the company.
Feeling the calling to go back to work for himself, Paul returned to Stomp to concentrate on it fully in 2021 and is enjoying it immensely.
Below are some examples of the brands and campaigns that he has been involved with.
